Dr. Patterson will examine areas of resiliency, change, influence, perseverance, and how to take charge of our career as a woman leader using her own career p ath and experiences learned during the trajectory of her career as a Supply Chain Professional and Black Female Leader in Supply Chain Management.

Dr. Erica Patterson, DM is an Influencer, Mentor, Motivational Speaker, Leadership Enthusiast, Leader Practitioner, and Youth Ad vocate. She has a knack for making meaningful connections and an insatiable appetite for helping others maximize their potential. Her life’s practice is to Place God First, Always Be True to Yourself, and the Rest will Follow. Dr. Patterson is the Direct or of Contracts Management & Supplier Diversity in the Supply Chain Department of the 5th largest municipally owned gas utility Company - Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW). She has been employed with PGW for 9 years. With over 15 years of professional experie nce in various disciplines of business across both private and public sectors; her professional experiences include Business Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, and Supplier Diversity. During her professional ten ure she has worked at Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA), Arkema Chemical Manufacturing Company, and Sunoco, Inc. She earned her Doctor of Management (DM) degree in Management and Organizational Leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Management (MM) and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management (MAOM) from University of Phoenix. She received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Management from Penn State University.
