Friday, May 1, 2020 - 8:30am to 9:30am

The Ambler Power Friday is held on the 1st Friday of the month.

In place of our in-person gatherings each Friday, we will be hosting Power Friday meetings online.  Our members and our community of women business owners need support in challenging times, and we hope that by converting these in-person meetings to online meetings, we can continue to provide the networking opportunities, education and support that our community needs while we practice social distancing.  Part of NAWBO’s mission is to create innovative and effective change in business culture.  We are practicing what we preach in our organization by actively seeking out opportunities to innovate and continue to serve our members, in spite of the ever-changing news around us.

Topic: Diversifying your Business Model

In case you haven't noticed, 'business as usual' is a dead concept right now. We'll dive into diversifying your business model so that you can weather any storm and look to not having a "season." We will also give you some general rules to help keep you on track with revenue allocation so you can better manage your business on a daily basis.

Recurring Revenue:

  1. How much do you need and how to create it. This is like giving your business a side hustle.
  2. Keep your big hitters to a reasonable ratio: Why would you give this advice?
  3. Why you need a higher proportion of a smaller revenue stream.

Revenue Allocation:

Let's be real, not everyone's books are clean. Let us provide you a very general rule of thumb to help you keep a grip you can handle
